: I'm looking to find an authorized Rolex dealer

: Rolex on the internet, I've discovered that
: authorized dealers tend to sell the watches
: for about twice as its wholesale price. But
: then we're also warned not to buy from
: unauthorized dealers. I don't want to pay
: the premium so should I just opt to go to
: Switzerland on my next vacation and buy one
: there?

This is really an Omega forum so I'd recommend you visit another website like www.timezone.com and go to their Rolex Brand Forum. Someone there can probably recommend an authorized retailer in your area.

I do know that Rolex retailers seldom discount more than 5-10% off the MSRP, so I don't think you are going to find the type of deal you seem to be looking for. Rolex doesn't allow their dealers to offer deep discounts. If they are caught doing so, their authorized dealer status will be revoked.
