I have this watch and simply LOVE it. There is a black hand ( with a funny looking end ) that points to the date of the month ( 1-31 ) around the circumference of the dial. This is set from the crown out position #1.
12 o'clock subdial shows DAY of WEEK and MONTH in windows with a 30 minute totalizer hand for Chronograph. 1 revolution is 30 minutes on chrono, 2 revolutions per chrono hour.
9 o'clock subdial shows hour in 24 hour format and sweep seconds for current time.
6 o'clock subdial shows hour totalizer for chrono. One revolution per chrono 24 hours.
You have 4 hands from center of dial:
Hour - Settable from Crown out position #2
Minute - Settable from Crown out position #2
Chrono Seconds - (Press top pusher to start chrono. Again to stop it. Press bottom pusher to reset chrono hands to 0.)
Date of month (1-31) - Settable from Crown out position #1, this will also advance the month in subdial at 12 o'clock.
There is a recessed pusher on left side of case that will allow you to set the day of week without changing anything else. ( Monday - Sunday ).
You can wind the watch with the crown in position 0, or pushed all the way in.
Congratulations on your new omega!
Hope this helps!
