That's great news. I knew that titanium wouldn't scratch your crystal, so I suspected it was some sort of stain from washing that may have looked like a scratch. Titanium does oxidize quickly after it has been scratched, so some titanium residue on your crystal is certainly a possibility if the ring had a recent scratch and then passed over your crystal.

Seismic Sam on this forum owns a titanium Seamaster, so maybe he has some ideas based on any scratches he's seen on his watch. Anyway, I'm glad you no longer have anything to worry about.
