In the past more than 20 years ago, Omega was offering watches of very outstanding quality for a great price with an inhouse movement.Now Omega is much more expensive than before and this with a non inhouse movement.See the brand Nomos who proposes you a great watch with an automatic inhouse movement for a very attractive price.
There is a reason for getting rid of the valjoux 7750 and replacing it by a 5100, the 5100 was a part of omega history, it had better legibility, durability and accuracy than the 7750.
