Hi Ray,
I had a look at my Seamasters to see if I could help you out.
As to your point #1, my Bond SMP is older (from 2002), and its original factory bracelet has the same lettering as your new one from ebay (where the O in PROFESSIONAL is more square than rounded). By contrast, my SMP 2254.50's clasp has the newer rounded "O" as you have on your original bracelet. My 2254 is new production, so I suspect that Omega switched to the newer lettering sometime over the past couple of years. The older, "square O" clasp may simply indicate an older bracelet. Not that it is fake, just old stock.
As to point #2, my 825 stamps are where yours are on your original as well. As to point #3, my bracelet looks just like yours. In fact, both my Bond and black SMPs have the logo and stampings on the inside of the clasp. You DO NOT need to open the clasp to view the markings.
I can't comment on point #4 without physically looking at both bracelets side by side.
I think the best thing to do is what you have done - ask the seller for permission to open the bracelet and closely examine it. That's the only way to be 100% sure. You can't determine authenticity through bubble-wrap.
Good luck and Happy New Year.
