a movement debate I had with Chuck Maddox *LINK*

In Response To: c.3301 vs c.1164 ()

Please read the thread I enclosed in the link it will help you to understand more the difference between the cal 1164 and 3301 as well as our opinions. Remember that one is a cam operated chrono (cal 1164) and the other a column wheel operated chrono (cal 3301), two very different things. The 3301 is a nice movement but it had some issues in the past, for a more complete detailing of the problems related to the 33xx, I would advise to check Chuck's weblog.
