It's funny you brought this up, because I just noticed the same thing on my Bond SMP a few days ago. I've had the watch for over 3 years now and only recently noticed that the date is high in the window, so there is more white showing below the date than above. Still, the date doesn't look like it's touching the top of the window (I can always see some white between the date and the top of the window).

For me it's no big deal, it was just something I happened to notice while looking at my watch (something I do quite frequently I might add!!).
