Frankly, I have NO IDEA what Omega is thinking. In magazine ads I have seen Mr. Brosnan wearing a Bond SMP, a 2254 SMP, a Railmaster, and a gold Aqua Terra on a gold bracelet. However, I have never seen him wear the Bond GMT or the DeVille shown in your link. What makes these qualify as "James Bond Watches" is beyond me, since only the 2541.80 and 2531.80 have been worn in the films.

I don't know if this "James Bond Watches" page was set up to explore potential candidates for the next Bond watch. If so, I think it's unusual that the Planet Ocean and 2254 aren't on there, as they would seem like logical candidates if Omega does, in fact, plan to give Bond a new watch.

I think that particular DeVille would be a good choice if it were on a bracelet (a bracelet is far more durable for "field work").
