Olympus SP-350 *LINK*

To be honest, I haven't used this digital camera much -- nor any other -- until not long before Christmas. I've always done my work w/ 2-1/4 format and 35mm film cameras, and have a good deal of lighting and lens control equipment w/ that.

Got the Olympus SP-350 mainly so that I'd have something quick to carry and setup for things like Cub Scout outings w/ my son. Just got the dedicated FL-20 strobe that goes w/ it, and I can't recommend highly enough that folks get flash units to go w/ their cameras: Makes a world of difference.

All the Omega shots on my website are first efforts, available light. Not much "control" other than angle and tripod mounting. Played a little w/ reflections, but not much. So the feedback here is extremely helpful, along w/ interest in details to be drawn out in the images. In a lot of cases, I did some modest manipulation in Adobe Photoshop Elements, but that was mostly dust and scratch removal.

Thanks again for the feedback and encouragement!
