Who had the webpage that showed the evolution of the Seamaster logo. I found one (once) that illustrated how the word Seamaster had changed details over the years.....
Hi Henry,
I've never seen or heard of a page covering the Semaster logo, BUT I'd be VERY interested if anyone can post info on it.
I know of a similar page covering the speedmaster logo.
Here is a link to Chuck Maddox's speedmaster logo page
Maybe this was the page you were thinking of ?
I don't think it will help you much with your search for Seamaster Info, but if you recognise the page, it may be the one you saw before.
I have a Seamaster from (I think) the late sixties with the capital "S" being a bit taller and more angular than just about all the watches I've seen. Pic available via email if it'll help.
I haven't had it out of the one-piece case to see the S/N or movement caliber.
I'm away from the internet for a couple of days, but if you want to E-mail me a picture of your watch, I'll gladly post it here in the forum, try to give you some info ( If I can ) & maybe someone here can tell you some more.
Thanks for any help,
Henry
Finally, feel free to look though the catalogues that I host on my website
Scroll down past the owners manuals. There are plenty of seamaster from the 60's in those Catalogues. you may well find your watch in there.
I hope this helps.
