Hi,
It's coming round to that pay bonus time of year and my thoughts have turned to a new Seamaster ... I've owned a midsize chronometer (2551.80.00) for about 7 years and kind of feel the need for something a little - but not too much - different.
OK, so the question ... I was in an Omega dealer on Saturday and tried the the 300M Chronometer (2594.52.00) but think I will go with the Olymics inspired version (2894.51.91) as I like the styling ...
1. The quoted 'Caliber' for the 2594.52.00 is 3301 whereas the 2894.51.91 is 3303 - what is the significance of this.
2. The original Olympic Seamaster (very limited edition I think) had Olympic rings on the chronograph second hand whereas the 2894.51.91 does not. Are there any other significant differences?
2a. Is there a limited production run of the 2894.51.91?
3. How does the chronograph on the Seamaster compare to that of the Speedmaster? (maybe a Speedmaster Professional to compliment my Seamaster might be an option ;-) )
Help, advice, comments, opinions, etc. are all most welcome - the only thing that is certain is that an Omega dealer near me will be making a sale in March.
Forgive me if I cocked up any terminology!!
/Andy
P.S. if anyone can recommend an authorised dealer in Stockholm with whom they have a good experience then please pass that on also!!
