Effects of Temperature Change

Hi All

I have a Seamaster (Bond) automatic that I wear pretty much 24/7. That includes work as I believe a watch is to wear and an omega can take a little abuse. Anyway my work involves working in very cold environments ie today the temp was -22 celcius. Then after work I often go to the gym and sometimes go to the sauna. Do you think such an extreme temp change can affect the watch in any way (maybe speed up the degredation of oils etc). I know the temp can affect the accuracy as i often notice when working in cold conditons the watch seems to run fast as apposed to a little slow when the temp raises. Just after some of your thoughts...

Thanks
