: Hi,
: It's coming round to that pay bonus time of
: year and my thoughts have turned to a new
: Seamaster ... I've owned a midsize
: chronometer (2551.80.00) for about 7 years
: and kind of feel the need for something a
: little - but not too much - different.
Just keep in mind that there's no limit to how many Omegas a man or woman can own.....
: 1. The quoted 'Caliber' for the 2594.52.00 is
: 3301 whereas the 2894.51.91 is 3303 - what
: is the significance of this.
Tough question, not area of expertise, but here's another thread that has all of your answers.
: 2. The original Olympic Seamaster (very limited
: edition I think) had Olympic rings on the
: chronograph second hand whereas the
: 2894.51.91 does not. Are there any other
: significant differences?
Don't know.... But a pic could help. Try the just released Olympics below from TimeZone(I know these are not the one's you're looking at...) at http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=1544052&rid=0
: 2a. Is there a limited production run of the
: 2894.51.91?
Again..... Sorry.
: 3. How does the chronograph on the Seamaster
: compare to that of the Speedmaster? (maybe a
: Speedmaster Professional to compliment my
: Seamaster might be an option ;-) )
What do you mean by that? I believe that both have very differnet movements (auto vs mechanical respectively), but accuracy and bhp are the same: 5bps (don't quote me on that) functionalities are excately the same for almost every chronograph.
