wrt the Speedmaster I take it by mechanical you mean that I will get some exercise every couple of days when I have to wind it!Either way there is no battery involved so it doesn't bother me too much ...
Interesting that the Chronographs are 1/5 second increments (I'm guessing that is good enough for most peoples reaction times) ... The second hand on the Seamaster is 1/8th second sweep - does this imply that is runs at a faster 8bps than the Chronographs' 5bps? (or have I put 2 and 2 together to make 5 ?!)
