I have actually read a lot of articles about changes of temperature and believe that it is common sense to avoid drastic (and sudden) temperature changes...

I think that I misunderstood Dave about his situation (afterwords he notified everyone that it was not as sudden as I thought it was).

Believe me, I am not trying to degrade/critize the Seamaster in any way, but the laws of thermodynamics apply to every watch. I understand that the SMP is a very robust watch and should be able to handle most situations.
