Just before Christmas, I came upon a website (among others, I'm sure) that allows users to post "unbiased" opinions of products based on personal experience. So I entered information on my Seamaster 2254.50 and, sure enough, it was in their database.
But with no reviews.
Well, any of you who've seen my Posts here can imagine that didn't last long. (See link below.)
Bigger picture, it got me wondering what we all might be doing in terms of promoting the brand more generally. I just read that Omega is closing in on Rolex in terms of recognition and image (had no idea we were that close). And we've discussed off and on here about the clout this Forum portends for buying power as well as expertise.
In my small way, I'd like to encourage others to let me know what they think about this sort of grass roots thing -- as well as being open, as always, to feedback on my own efforts here.
