fortunately, i have made a new 'friend' through work who just happens to be a jeweller , but more importantly,he is also an authorised Omega dealer !
for starters, i helped him out with something and saved him some money,so he has now got my Bond seamaster and is servicing it for free,and polishing the whole watch back to new condition.
i think he is going to be a very good friend (!),
particularly when the time comes to negotiate a discount on my next Omega ......
