Yes, GMT means Greenwich Mean Time. It’s a watch that will display two separate time zones at a time. Mechanical watches will last as long as they are taken care of, usually requiring maintenance between 5-10 years. Cost is about $200 - $250 or so. Being mechanical yes, some do just stop working sometimes. If you are looking for inexpensive, accurate, low maintenance, dependable, you should look at getting Quartz. If you like the idea of having a pure mechanical machine sitting on your wrist, mechanical is the way to go. I don’t wear quartz.
