: Hi

: Omega started use outside companies since 1984
: particularly Eta, an exception has to be
: noted which is Lemania (the manufacturer of
: speedy pro movement, that company used to
: belong to Omega from 1932 to 1985).
: Most of movements are made by Eta for Omega but
: certainly not by Omega as it used to be the
: case before.
: Omega was true manufacture in the past with
: really something exceptional in terms of
: movements. Omega of today is very
: different.It is not a manufacture anymore.

Georges,
thankyou for your information. i am a little disapointed to hear that Omega dont make their own movements anymore. i have a 1962 constellation with a cal 561 movement and it is a fine work of art, but i feel the information you have given me devalues the ownership experience of my newer Omegas somewhat.
do Rolex make their own movements?
