: Georges,
: thankyou for your information. i am a little
: disapointed to hear that Omega dont make
: their own movements anymore. i have a 1962
: constellation with a cal 561 movement and it
: is a fine work of art, but i feel the
: information you have given me devalues the
: ownership experience of my newer Omegas
: somewhat.
: do Rolex make their own movements?
Yes Rolex is a 100% manufacture and they manufacture their own chrono movements since 2000 with the introduction of the calibre 4130.
New Omegas are good but they are not the same things like vintage Omegas. They are two very different things.
