Omega quality of inhouse vintage movements is by far superior to the quality of any eta movement.
The winding system on the old omega automatic movement ia jeweled pivot system ensuring a maximal bidirectional winding and maximal power reserve of the watch. Not only vintage Omega movements have a better power reserve than Omega eta based movements but they don't need to be serviced every 5 years.
The manufacture status is what made Omega truely unique.
