I have a daily wear Citizen that I wear to work, and keep my SMP for weekends, evenings out, etc. I've tried to wear the SMP to work, but HATE to see new scratches on the band, etc. I have a bi-directional watch winder that I keep it in when not in use. My question is, if I let it run down between uses (mostly a week at a time), instead of keeping it constantly wound, does it 'wear' more slowly, meaning more time between maintenance requirements? Or is it more beneficial for the watch to stay running constantly?
