: Yes, like my local AD salesperson insisting
: that the White dialed Seamaster 300m quartz
: watch they had was a new model that they had
: recently gotten in and thats the reason they
: would not be willing to discount it much.

: I mean, am I missin sometin here? Im pretty
: sure that it has been discontinued and even
: went as far as to point out that its not on
: the omega website anymore. Heck, I can't
: even find it on the grey market sites. Dang,
: you would think that if it were your only
: job to sell watches, you might at least know
: just a tad bit about the product.

Yep, I could write a book (and a funny one at that) on all the stupid things that have come out of watch salespeople's mouths over the years. Sadly, most of them seem to be certified gemologists or jewelry experts who find mechanical things like watches to be "too complicated" to learn about. Either that or they're just too lazy. If only they were all as knowledgeable as Teeritz from this forum.
