I bought my watch from an AD in NY and I live in Michigan. It was an easy and very good transaction and the gentleman I spoke with was great. The AD was given to me by John R, and I will use the AD again next time I make a purchase. I would not worry, especially since it is an AD. Also, as I understand it, to service the watch (5 years for mechanical, 10 years for mechanical co-axial) you would send it to Omega, either the US department or to Omega in Switzerland. I would not worry, like I said, my transaction was quick, smooth and I got my watch in perfect condition. Hope this helps!!
