The particular dealer I use and give referrals to is a very high-volume retailer. He can therefore offer a 33% discount because he sells TONS of Omegas. On the other hand, small jewelry stores that you see in shopping malls tend not to discount much, if at all, since they don't do a very high-volume business and need to make as much profit as they can on each and every watch they sell. They also have to pay very high rent to the company that leases them their store space in the mall. Some of these stores will offer no discount at all, others will offer 10-20%, etc. Typically you do have to bargain with these people. It depends on how desperate they are for a sale. If business is slow and you ask for 20% off when they offer 15%, they might accept your offer. It's really a matter of what they are willing to accept. However, here in the US, the only people who actually pay full price for an Omega are the people who don't do their homework before buying.
