I have an 18kt gold Omega seamaster from 1952(12 million serial #) that says "automatic chronometre officially certified" on the dial. I know that the COSC certification started in 1973, so what procedure did this watch with it's 352 bumper 17 jewel movement have to go through?
It is my everyday watch and keeps very accurate time(+/- 15 secs./day).
