Hi Guys,
I have a 1 year old SMP Mid-Size that was 'shamefully' purchased from Authentic Watches (it is hard to deny their price and reputation on ebay). I did have it 'authenticated' at an AD and by personal jeweler and it has serial #'s.
Over the last month it developed a slight buzz or rattle as I shook it or when winding. Within the same timeframe the bezel began to loosen and eventually was sticking in 2 spots and nearly spinning the rest of the way around. ?
Well, I sent it back to them and now they say it has been shipped to the manufacturer and they will get back to me after it is inspected. All of this could take an additional 3-6 weeks (it has already been 3) and that anything not covered by the warranty will be given to me in an estimate before they complete the repair.
Geez, what a headache for a 1 year old watch.
On another note....
While at the AD, he tells me that he knows that I bought my watch grey market. I has him why and he says that no dealer would have a bond watch on a black SMP (2252.50.00) bracelet. The number I have for my model is (2751.80.00). Is there something wrong with this combo? I did not know that it was an issue. I just bought it because I prefer that bracelet to the Bond one.
Thoughts?
Thank you,
Chris
