I got into a very heated discussion about "AuthenticWatches" (yeah, right) on timezone, where another party kept pointing out how they have 100% feedback and are very reputable. This goes to show you that leaving feedback right after the purchase means nothing. Would you leave them positive feedback right now, knowing that they decieved you?
They sell you a fake model number (genuine Omega parts but fake model and number), they lie and tell you that the Omega factory is going to service the watch when, as Keith said, they are not since you have no factory warranty. Then, to add insult to injury, they say that YOU will have to pay for what they tell you isn't covered under warranty. Can you really trust them to be honest about what "they say" isn't covered under warranty? Does this sound like a reputable company worthy of 100% feedback?????
I would call them up and scream bloody murder if I were you. At the very least they may agree to cover all repairs 100% if they know you are already unhappy by their unethical business practices.
Lesson learned - NEVER EVER buy gray markey. The risks involved in saving pocket change just aren't worth it. My Authorized Dealer sells watches for practically the same price - no headaches, no warranty concerns, just great service and a 100% genuine watch.
I'm sorry you had to learn the hard way, but if I can help you in any way, just post or e-mail me.
