Hello,
I own a 5 year old seamaster pro chronometer and I noticed yesterday some slight condensation behind the crystal close to the helium valve.
I also noticed that the helium valve was open.
I left the valve as well as the crown open overnight and noticed the the watch was absolutely clear in the morning.
The morning I closed both tight and noticed condensation next to both the crown and the helium valve.
Is it possible that some humidity got in the watch from the helium valve?
I guess all the seals should be replaced.
Is it safe to take it to genwatch.com?
Any experience? I checked the prioce in switzerland and it is close to 230$ without shipping.
I know that shipping will be another 50$.
That's alot of money for replacing the seals.
Any alternatives?
thank you.
