: I'm interested in possibly getting either the
: Speedmaster Professional or Moonphase
: watch...basically one with a manually
: winding movement that's not a certified
: chronometer. Curious to know what sort of
: time the movements are keeping after two or
: three years. Like to also know how often you
: wind the watches, if you wind it even on
: days you don't wear it or do you simply let
: it sit and rewind and reset the time
: whenever you wear it again. Thanks in
: advance.
I don't know how the Speedmasters hold up over time, but I'm sure they'll last (wait for Georges or others to reply). Winding the watch every day would be best. But if you won't be wearing the watch for say a week, then it might be best to let it die instead of constantly taking care of it every night. I can only come up with reason why a person wouldn't wear an Omega if he has one..... it's because he has another one.
