: Can anyone recommend a place for watch service

: for local service. Sound right?

I don't live in that area and can't recommend a watchmaker there, but that price seems reasonable for an AD's watchmaker to charge for the service. Omega factory service centers charge an estimated $275-$300 for a full servicing, but a qualified local watchmaker may not charge as much. Just be certain the watchmaker is qualified and has a good reputation. If you have any doubt at all, I'd send it back to Omega directly.
