I find this fascinating. If you go over to the Costco web site, they’re selling a HUGE assortment of very high end watches, and, as has been correctly pointed out by Mike, they state that the watches are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, as Costco is not considered an “authorized dealer”. Why is it that a company this large, that must be selling a huge amount of these watches, can’t get “authorized dealer” status?
