Hi all,
iīm back from my AD...
So let me tell you what happened in short form:
me: hello, iīve got an complaint about the watch i bought from you.
AD clerk: letīs see how we can help you.
me: the crown broke from my brand new omega.
AD clerk: jesus! iīve never seen something like that.
me: mine either
AD clerk: We have to send the watch to Omega.
me: bad idea, i want a new one or my money back.
AD clerk: i have to ask my boss.
me: please do so.
AD clerk (comming back after speaking to boss:
We canīt give you a new one, because your watch has traces of usage on it and Omega wonīt give us a credit item for a used watch.
me: give me my money back.
AD clerk: i canīt because the watch has allready been used.
me: §$%&§&§§!!!!
AD clerk: please sir, donīt fluster. we will give you an lend-watch for the time your watch is at Omega.
me: letīs see...(exepting a equivalent watch for my SMP)
AD clerk comming back with some old, crappy (sorry collectors) Omega watch from the 70īs full of scratches.
me: are you kidding me?
AD clerk: No sir.
--break--
after that we argued over 15minutes, the clerk didnīt wanted to give me an new watch neither the manager wanted to.
so all i could do in this situation is let them send the watch back to Omega...
Unfortunaly german civil laws (iīm from germany) give them the right to behave like this, but this has nothing to do with customer service at all.
Iīm really thinking about selling the watch after repair and buy something else from another brand, im so disappointed from Omega and my AD....
