I've read a few posts about Costco...
In Response To: costco ()

Hi Guys,

Living in Europe, I have no real idea what Costco is like, but can imagine it.

I've read lots of posts about them (on TZ ) & most of them are bad. People buying watches that come with the wrong boxes/papers/ cards etc etc

There was even a guy who spotted a fake at Costco. I believe they have a fairly generous returns policy & the posts in the thread suggested that someone had bought a genuine Watch & returned a fake. The Costco sales people didn't notice & had a fake on display.

So the Bottom line is if you decide to buy from Costco, make sure that you know 100% what you are looking at.

If I where you, I'd E-mail both Keith Downing & John Rochowicz ( they both post regularly here ). They both have their own Authorized Dealers that they recommend. Many, MANY people have bought from these dealers. And what is more important, many people have bought more than once from these dealers. You'll get a great price & SERVICE.

I have yet to hear a bad word about either of the dealers.

Finally, the last piece of advice I'd give you is.... You HAVE to see the watches in person, you MUST try them on. ( see Costco DOES have its uses ! :-) ) Regardless of how good it is, a picture is NOT enough.

Good luck with your decision & let us know how you get on.

Steve
