True Amateurs or Crooks vs True professionnals
In Response To: Re: Watch rage ()

Hi

This is very typical, when you trust too much an online dealer who seems to be a great deal but in the reality he is not and is a nightmare. Why did I never got burned? Because I never trusted these people who claim themselves professionals (that is also the case of some powersellers on the bay claiming the watch is working well but which in fact is in more than crappy condition).I go to a shop with a watchmaker and I never go to a shop where the seller is a middle man or not himself a watchmaker. Why? Because rarely the middleman is very knowledgeable about movements or barnds and when you ask too sharp or too concrete questions, he can't answer.
Be selective about shops and open your eyes twice before buying something.

just my two cents

regards

georges
