yeah, my Bond quartz SMP does exactly the same. the second marker hits right between the marks..
i bought the watch off ebay at 2years old to be used as my everyday beater watch so it doesnt really bother me, however as someone else has mantioned, you would expect it to hit the markers.
someone else has said this is may be due to the metal gears used in high end watches. if this is so then surely it would just be a case of re-calibrating and adjusting the mechanism to hit the markers instead of inbetween the markers....
