"The devil is in the details," as they say -- except we have John looking out for us here (thank goodness!).
Spoke a a local AD this afternoon who said, "what price increase?" and went on to say there was none, nor was there any word of one coming. Just like the national chain I mentioned in a previous post.
Yet, in looking at John's list, it's clear they are giving as their MSRP the new pricing! Then, of course, discounting off of that (now 25% as the figure I'm getting, by the way, up from 20%).
Other intelligence: As I've been inquiring into Rolex watches, I am finding an easy 8% discount off of MSRP is quoted. So, at least in my area, there is either a shift or an exposure of what's always been, in terms of Rolex "firm" pricing.
