spotted out there in internet land...
What I find interesting here, is that the film is from 1969. So the year of the moon landing & Omegas are already heavily using space as an advertising "slant".
The story is about 3 astronauts stranded in space running out of oxygen, trying to get home & everyone on earth is watching.... earily like the apollo 13 story..
