Re: FITTING A BRACELET??
In Response To: FITTING A BRACELET?? ()

: has anyone fitted a bracelet to a watch meant
: for a strap??
: for instance,my f300 case" is 198.002.
: Ofrei says no bracelet for that one ,only
: straps.
: They do have a 198.003,but Ofrei says not
: related.
: But that don`t mean it cant be made to fit.
: so my inquiry:is it possible to "fit"
: the appropriate endpieces where they touch
: the case,very carefully with a jewelers
: file,on a bracelet of correct width??
: or just use straight endpieces??
: On my case,the radii is quite shallow,so I
: would be removing material from a radiused
: endlink.
: thanks much,
: billy

I wouldn't want to say that it is impossible, but I wouldn't recommmend it. I'm sure that if you go to a local watchmaker and try on a few, you'll find one you'll like; without ever having to grind and chip.
