You definitely have a problem with that new battery, or the person who fixed it didn't install it properly or did some other damage to the watch. Losing 10 seconds every 2-3 days is WAAAAAYYYY too much for a quartz movement. I suggest you take it back to whoever put the battery in and tell them about your problem. If you had it done by an Omega service center, they will gladly fix it for you.
