Well, I just got a great trade-in deal on my two-year-old SMP full-size quartz against a brand new full size auto, and I went for it.
I've always been a staunch defender of the quartz SMP on this board, and will probably continue so to be, but the more I read about pukka Swiss autos, the more I had to have one!
Got it yesterday, and it's a beauty. My girlfriend thinks I'm bonkers: "So you gave that guy your lovely watch, and a few hundred quid, and he gave you back one which looks identical but is less accurate, right?"
There's just no educating some people. :-(
