When I recently bought a watch, I pointed out the tiniest scratches to the seller. Then I had the bracelet shortened, and the repairshop made some pretty deep scratches on the case and on the bracelet.
The moral of the story: It's going to get scratched no matter what, so enjoy it while it lasts. :-)
