Funny, I got the exact same impression after reading that article. It sounds like Craig is saying, "I don't like handguns" (but I don't mind using them as a means to a multi-million dollar paycheck).
I wonder if he's really a quartz guy, too, and Omega is twisting his arm to wear that "bloody inaccurate" mechanical timepiece in the film.
