First, let me say that I agree with the moderators. Being a watch forum, we should respect our "neighbors" as not everyone is comfortable with guns although like many of you, I'm a firearms collector as well. I also happen to be Canadian and a police officer who almost had to turn in my privately owned handguns because of anti-gun politicians who don't understand the issues. Myself and several fellow officers are already subject to ridiculous laws that ultimately mean to ban handguns. Despite very prohibitive laws already in existance, I regularly arrest armed criminals who, surprise surprise, are unaware of any of these laws!

For the non-gun people out there, please understand we feel guns in themselves are not bad. I speak out only because the American Constitution protects you from "the lunatics running the asylum" as is happening up here in Canada. When the day comes, and I'm sure it is, that all guns are banned up here...I hope to move myself, my guns and watches to the States so keep up the fight! By the way, you pay less for Omegas down there too!
