Lemania 5100 Question Posted By: SJACKAL Date: 2/14/06 04:45 GMT

Is there a Russian or Chinese version of the Lemania 5100 movement?

Not to my knowledge...

Or any other versions than the lemania?

Huh? Not sure what you mean... Omega's version had more gilt plating and had an Omega rotor, Orfina's had their own engraved rotor. I did a writeup in my .blog back in December 2005 about a number of 5100 variants, including the 5012, the 5200 and a couple of others...

I mean, have anyone come across a Lemania 5100 watch with a fake movement?

Fake? No, cobbled together pieces and parts, yes...

There also are "dealer's samples" which are cases, hands and dials but no movement. There is one on eBay of a Heuer "Pilot's model" that is a dealer sample (but not a 5100)... For what it's worth, this model of watch does not show up in any Heuer or TAG-Heuer catalog I am aware of.

Chuck? George?

I'm sure Georges will be along soon enough...
