Well, I did buy her a diamond dial connie for Valentines day, the My choice mini. Problem is, she had to pre approve that purchase, so it was not a suprise to her, and as is typical with women, she was more ticked at me for buying the PO than was appreciative of the watch she got, because after all, watches are just "jewelery". My goal was to get her the connie and a few weeks later spring the PO on her, hoping it would soften the blow. No such luck on that one. Good news is that I at least have a leg out of the dog house today.
