: it came a day early.its big,its heavy and its

: extension?question # 2>is it normal to be
: scared to wear it?i know that ultimately its
: going to get scratched, but maybe its the
: first scratch that hurts most.thanks.

You and I are so on the same page. I just got a new PO and found a very small scratch on the steel bracelet. Yes, it threw me a little. It may have come with it, or it may have happened when I got the bracelet sized. I had a conversation with myself- do I want this watch to be a museum piece or do I want to wear it? It would be sad for it not to be worn. A quartz watch can sit and run along without any attention from you. These watches though- they have behavior. Isn't that part of their appeal? Anyway, I can tell you that when I got the bracelet sized, I tried it a little loose and then had the jeweler take out one more link (the small one). I've always worn a watch loose but with a watch of this weight, I think it is a different story. The jeweler seemed to lean toward my going for the tighter fit and I'm SO glad I did. He told me that it would loosen up a bit on its own and it has. I just feel that the watch is so much safer this way and it is plenty comfortable.
