This thread has gone too far. Here is my two cents: Marcus, as everyone has said YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY AN OMEGA IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT. You are free to buy whichever brand you like.
I have an Omega Seamaster quartz model 2541.8000 and it's second hand lands on the second mark-every 60 one of them- with each and every click. It's exactly on the second mark not off even by a hair or two. So far, each and every one I saw were the same way. Still even if they weren't that would not make a difference, because if you think this is not the case just DON'T PAY OVER 1K AND DO NOT BUY AN OMEGA. Go buy whatever you want and stop bugging the people in this forum.
