: Hi Jeff
: I do like the Geneve line from Omega. At least
: these first generation. They lived a quiet
: life between the Seamaster and Constellation
: line, before they was made the Omega entry
: line in the late 60's. Here is better
: picture of the white one, and a link to read
: some more about the Geneves. from FrankN in
: Denmark

:

: I think the one in black is very uncommon. I
: have been looking for it for a long time,
: and finally made someone at TZ selling it to
: me. I even bought it without seeing pictures
: first.
: I have only been able to find this one, and one
: more on the web so far. But the first
: Geneves shows up now and then on ebay,
: between the later ones that is very common

: The Geneve model was introduced in 1953. The
: only way to indicate the year is to have the
: movement serial number
: From the Omega vintage pages
: Movement number and earliest year of production
: 14.000.000 1954
: 15.000.000 1956

: Both of mine is 14.5xx.xxx, which most likely
: dates them to 1955

: Here is a nice Ad made for the Geneve in 1953
:

: Cheers Jon
