Sunday completed Day #101 of the precision accuracy observation you may recall that I'd been doing on my 2254.50 Seamaster. So it was already scheduled to go off-wrist for the final phase of that, ie, power reserve evaluation.

Coincident w/ all this, my next Bond watch was already in the plans for purchase around the time filming started on the new movie. And in the last month, things came into place that made that direction unquestionably Rolex.
The 14060M "no-date" is without a doubt an M-3 version of the 5513 Sub from "Live and Let Die," - and purchasing a vintage M-6 was out of the question due to authenticity and maintenance issues (otherwise, they're actually cheaper than the new versions).
Did the deal on Monday. Through an Authorized Dealer, face to face, brick and mortar: Just like I do w/ all my Omega watches.
It's an incredible piece. And it's proving more accurate than any COSC certified watch I've owned! Still waiting for that first scratch on the deployant clasp, but the high-grade steel there just won't give it up.
Without "outing" anyone here, Jason, I do want to acknowledge that 3 folks in particular on this Forum who were extremely informative and encouraging of this purchase, and I really appreciate that.
Still need to get out of the habit of looking at the 3 o'clock position on the dial for the date....
